@A Training divisions
Separate, but integrated
Each division of AkukhanYa is a separate entity, but yet integrated in some way in all the training programmes.
What do we mean? How can the divisions be separate and still be integrated?
AkukhanYa is the division that supports the clients with information on learnerships, bursaries, internships, workplace skills plans, B-BBEE Scorecard, coaching & mentoring and support of the HRD of the organisation.
AkukhanYa is the legal entity and training support for HRD, while the other divisions are the training or support to the training programmes.
iVictory! focus on AET (previously known as ABET) programmes, as well as the Foundational learning Competency (FLC) programmes.
iVictorY! is NOT only literacy & numeracy, it is about all the programmes available under the Umalusi NQF 1 banner. it is much more than language & maths. While FLC focus on NQF 2-4 Literacy & Numeracy.
Fu-Za links up with the literacy & numeracy of iVictorY!, the IT & technology of T-Man techno, the community project of Grumba Festivals and the community (social) outreach under Jireh Fountain.
Fu-Za is an offsite and onsite training solution, it is learnerships & qualifications, it is skills programmes and entrepreneurial empowerment.
Ali's Travels @A
Ali's Travels is the magic that lift al the programmes out of the ordinary and same into the extraordinary and different.
Ali & Bella take the learners on a journey around space and the world. They discover countries and cultures, religions and governance, music and art, museums and sports, diversity and heritage, conservation & more.
T-Man Techno is about IT, Computers, modern technology and apps.
The website is still in development.
Grumba means dig deep and the learners have to dig deep to succeed.
Website in development
Jireh means provider and this is about community outreach and providing for those in need - through deeds, through support through care.
Supporting divisions - websites still in development
iSkoli will be a website populated with all things to do with school. The learners have to populate this website as part of their research assignment. It is still in development.
The Big C focus on cancer and health issues. The content is incorporated into the learners training programme. The website is still in development.
We encourage the learners to improve their business and entrepreneurial knowledge once resource or one topic at a time. it is part of the life long learning they are encouraged to embark on.
Coffea & Art-e-tree
The first coffee pop up shop will happen during the Christmas Market on the 17th & 28th of November. Organised and run by the learners as practical experience.
